Joe Robertson was one of the 15 people who survived the plane crash of Oceanic 815. After the crash, he joined and led the water group, along with Emma, Michelle and James. In his short lived life, Joe was arrogant and rude towards the other survivors. After Josh, Charlotte and Alex went missing, Joe took charge, but this was short lived as he died after being attacked.

Childhood[]
Joe grew up in the United Kingdom with his mother and father, Leanne and Scott Robertson.
Career[]
Joe worked as a chef in a five star restaurant and according to Melissa, he was very successful. ("Say Goodbye")
Oceanic Flight 815[]
On board Oceanic Flight 815, Joe was originally sat near some young children, but because they were too noisy, he asked to be moved. He was then sat next to Charlotte; he tried to flirt and talk to her, but she didn't reciprocate. When Joe started to talk about children, Charlotte got upset to she went to the toilet. On the Island[]
Days 1-3 (Season 1)[]
On the night of the crash, Joe joined the water group along with other people from the camp. Later that night, he was among the survivors when the noises of the monster came from the jungle.
In the morning, he gathered with his group and started to set up tarps to collect water, but he became angry and then left. When it rained, he took shelter in the wreckage of the plane. When the rain stopped, he came out and tried to take leadership of the group, but he was stopped when he was mysteriously attacked by Thomas. ("A New Beginning, Part 1") ("Ah, but Underneath")
Later on, he was found, disorientated and hurt by Josh, Charlotte and Alex. When Samantha found them, they left for help, leaving him with Alex. But they were attacked soon after, Thomas and Steve returned to collect Alex. Joe attempted to save him, but Steven kicked him repeatedly. They then left him to die, taking Alex with them. Post-death[]
When the group returned back to the crash site, they found Joe's dead body. The next day they buried him, and Melissa said a few words at the funeral. ("Say Goodbye")
